These are resin / composite bonded fillings, which can be perfectly matched to the colour of the tooth. These fillings don’t contain any toxic substances and they can be placed on both front and back teeth.
We use only the best white filling materials which means not only do they look great but they last a long time as well. White fillings have glue like properties which means they bond the tooth together and in some case can be used to strengthen the tooth.
The dentist will remove all the decay and clean the tooth before placing the filling. Once the material has been placed in the tooth the dentist will use a special curing light which immediately sets the filling.
These are fillings made of a metal alloy, which are mixed with a small quantity of mercury. In some cases a white filling will not be possible so we may recommend a metal filling.
