Metal Braces

Metal Braces are part of Fixed Braces
There are several different types of fixed braces. It involves the fixing of small brackets to each of the teeth, which may need tilting, rotating, intruding or even extruding.

Standard Metal Braces

This is the most economical method of straightening teeth and it involves the placement of metal brackets connected by a wire on the lip side of the teeth. It has no limitations and all types of cases can be treated using this technique.

Depending on you specific problem you may need to wear aligners or braces from any time between 6 month to 2 years. The duration of treatment for each case will be determined at the planning stages so that you will be able to decide on the best time for your treatment to commence.

Lingual Braces

Lingual Braces are type of Fixed Braces

There are several different types of fixed braces. It involves the fixing of small brackets to each of the teeth, which may need tilting, rotating, intruding or even extruding.

These braces are placed on the inside surface of the teeth (tongue side) so that you are unable to see them at all. This is a good option if you are in the public eye and want braces that are out of sight. Due to there location speech is difficult at first, but after a short period you will adapt with out any problems.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic Braces are made from a white ceramic material so that they are not as noticeable. From 1 meter away you would never be able to notice them. Again there are no limitations.
